MOON 44 - (1990)
There are bad movies out there. There are some truly awful pieces of celluloid in existence. The fact that these things keep getting produced shows that someone, somewhere, is watching them. Paul ‘Logan Blaze’ Anderson is one such person, who tends to find something ANYTHING of merit in some of the most despised pieces of film history. Except Picnic at Hanging Rock. Never bring up Picnic at Hanging Rock.......

Join Logan as he tries to convince you that a questionable film deserves some attention. Yes, Logan Blaze is…….

A CRACKING REBOXING - AGE OF CONAN COLLECT0RS EDITION

6/12/2015

The Bard appears from the mists of time to re-box another MMO collector's edition from an age undreamed of! Come and lay witness to a collectors edition that was almost good; undone by lacking quality and an art book packed with in-game screenshots and miserable disregard for the actual good art done by skilled artists who gave a damn.

In memoriam: DUSTY RHODES (1945 - 2015)

In a day where Legends have gone to their rest, we've discovered yet another has joined their ranks. Dusty Rhodes has passed away at the age of 69. Born Virgil Runnels, but known in wrestling as "The American Dream", Dusty battled against the likes of Ric Flair and Harley Race in the original NWA days, winning the world championship three times.

Overweight, but with a big presence and charisma that was second to none, Dusty fought for the Common man in a world where big men with muscles dominated the industry
. He eventually became a huge creative power, working behind the scenes for the NWA, WCW, TNA and finally for the WWE, including their NXT developmental group. His sons, Dustin & Cody Rhodes, currently wrestle as Goldust and Stardust, and they inducted their father into the WWE Hall of Fame a few years ago.

Now Dusty truly gets to dine with Kings and Queens.

In memoriam: Sir Christopher Lee (1922-2015)

We here at the Old Oilhouse are deeply saddened to report that Sir Christopher Lee passed away this Sunday at age 93.

Legend is a word much overused these days, but in the case of Sir Christopher Lee, it is a word that not only be true, but does not come close to the truth.

Lee made his name through the stage and screen, from James Bond's The Man With The Golden Gun ( a character said to actually be based in part of his military days) and the Hammer Horror movies he starred in, up to the Lord of the Rings and Star Wars films of recent years.

Lee was famous for his baritone voice and commanding screen presence, and has lent these talents to projects for over 70 years.  Lee's career has been one of extraordinary heady heights, and it is without shame of hyperbole, that we say: he was one of a kind, he was without peer, he will be missed, and yes...

He was a legend.
