Team 17 were a fresh new games development group specialising in original titles for the then insanely popular Commodore Amiga home computer.
The group came literally out of nowhere and quickly established themselves as serious players amongst the big names of the industry such as Psygnosis, Bulfrog and the Bitmap Brothers. Their smooth, high quality and ultra polished products earned them a serious name as did their games which often featured absolutely crazy difficulty levels.
Andreas Tadic formed a part of that team in the early days and was responsible for coding some of their most recognisable titles including Team 17's breakthrough beat 'em up Full Contact.
Andreas was also responsible for programming some of Team 17's most well know games in the early 90's most of which are now considered retro classic. These included Alien Breed (1991), Project X (1992), Superfrog (1993) Alien Breed II (1993) and many more.
Andreas worked with Team 17 for 12 years before creating his own studio named Custom Red Software Studios AB in 2002, which he was in charge of for almost 5 years. In 2007 he became employed by Avalanche Studios as an engine architect. During his six years with Avalanche, Andreas has worked on titles such as Just Cause, Renegade Ops and Mad Max.
Andreas is still heavily involved in game coding and in 2010 took on the role as Lead Programmer of Avalanche.
