I can sum this film up in no more than two or less, those words would be Animation Accomplishment. Wings of Honnêamise for me stands out as a being a crowning achievement of animation and dedication by Gainax studios, not just that but it manages to provide a larger purpose to its themes and explores them deeper in the story as the film progresses to its climax. Of an anime watched from the Sci-Fi Channel anime years this one stuck with me for a very long time and it still holds up amazingly well through so much of what is represented.

When it comes to anthology films Robot Carnival takes its place up there among masterpieces such as Walt Disney’s Fantasia as well as mindless but entertaining shlock such as Heavy Metal, what these films manage to do is set themselves up as testing ground beginning directors as a way of getting ready to take on future projects later on in their careers but also they have a good way of bringing out the best from both the directors and the animators in the stories they can tell as a way of coming together. To help expose their talents for future projects down the line, Robot Carnival manages to tell some rather unique little stories under the command of 9 different directors with different styles under the running time of 90 minutes using Robots as its central theme.

By 1989 the Turtles craze was in full swing. The cartoon was the most popular kids shown on TV, and the merch was selling in truckloads, with everything from turtles bubble bath to Asda's vile pizza topping selection which would make a billy goat puke!

A live action incarnation was inevitable, and in the 1990's instead of one we got three.......

The Toy Stacks repopen once again with a collection of pictures on a unproduced Starcaft 1:18th scale figure of Tychus from the Starcraft Franchise. One of these has been left as is, the other has had the face painted and some work done to the legs and feet.
