STALK THIS WAY TO LISTEN IN
This week, with Halloween just around the corner, Gruff, DHD and Rob chat a bit about the franchises that make the monsters, the franchise that should be forgotten, and get your thoughts on the horror movie genre.
STALK THIS WAY TO LISTEN IN

This one should be interesting, this week we have a triple changer that since its release garnered a lot of backlash due to a massive flaw in its design. I'll try not to dwell on it to much as I discuss this weeks review.
The Lock In comes in pocket sized this week, and brings a blast from the past of Radio 1.
Jump this WAY to listen in So with my move to the United States all of my PCC toys are boxed up and are either at my Dad's house or on their way to me via the USPS.
I've yet to make a set up for photos so I'd like to thank my balcony and the Florida sun for my current photos. I wanted to keep writing the reviews so I'll be going over the toys I had waiting for me here. The first of my USA toys is a unique toy of a unique character, it's also my first Generation 1 toy review. If there's one thing that is just as certain as death and taxes, it's that if someone has a good idea that makes money the you can be sure as shit that it will be copied and copied hard! Games are no different and the 90's saw what can only be described as swarms of beat em ups made by shameless developers trying to claw even a morsel of flesh off the carcass with their usually sub par offerings.
Zbots were small action figures made by Galoob and first released in 1992. Galoob released four series of Zbots from 1992 to 1994. Galoob also created a number of Zbot vehicles alongside the figures. The heroes were the ZBots (Designed to Defend!). The villains were the Voids (Made to Menace!). Each side has their own logo, usually imprinted on each robot's torso, although some do not have a visible logo. The Z-Bots' logo is a "Z", while the Voids' is a stylized "V".
Each Zbot design came in two different color sets, each listed as an individual character. Additionally, the Zbots often outnumbered the Voids two to one. Generally, the packages came with three of the figures each, with either two Voids and a Zbot, or two Zbots and a Void. |
