Tuesday Toy Stacks - rock lords part one

The truly amazing Dean Holdaway has cooked up something very special for this week's Tuesday Toy Stacks.
An almost complete Rock Lords collection.
You read that correctly.  What are are about to see is a complete loose collction of everything that came out under the Rock Lords name.

Rock Lords was a spin-off toyline to the GoBots from Tonka in 1986, and had a movie inGoBots: Battle of the Rock Lords. They were transforming rocks that came with weapons such as axes, guns and swords, as well as  vehicles for the Characters such as Magmar, Slimestone and Nuggit to drive into battle. Thes rocky toys were imported from Bandai's Machine Robo "Ganseki Chōjin" sub-line. Much like others of their ilk,  there were "good guys" (led by Boulder) and "bad guys" (led by Magmar). The tagline associated with these toys was "POWERFUL LIVING ROCKS!".

Rock Lords was not a successful toy line. Transformers was getting the better sales, but Rock Lords was able to last for three series. There were unreleased Rock Lords toys such as the Stone Head playset and Crackpot in meteorite colors.

ENJOY.

Tuesday Toy stacks - Callgrim

This week, It's the turn of Callgrim, from Rawshark Studios!
Jesse created this Glyos-Compatable monster to be a bounty hunting beast, and that really shows through with the sculpt. There has been a ton of colourways for the mold, but this is the original and, to my mind, the best.

He's also had some spymonkey creations weapons added, for maximum carnage!
