XBOX at E3!

Well Xbox showed quite a bit of stuff today. I'm going to glance over most things and focus on the
good stuff. Well, good stuff for me.
Enjoy?

I have long been a Halo fan boy from it's inception on the original Xbox to its 360 counterpart, Halo
look very interesting, with 4 player co-op and a new imagining of the multiplayer format adding
NPC enemies into massive open maps. Should be interesting.

Recore was up next, brand new IP. Its got a robot dog too so that's good, Fallout 4 was shown soon
after with much of the same gameplay from Bethesda's presentation last night so no need to tell you about that. EA showed up for brief period showing us Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare 2, looks like fun, but was only a cinematic rather than gameplay (Dangerzone was a good choice of song), will wait to see if gameplay is shown later tonight.

Forza 6 arrived in a ridiculous display of car type glory, with Henry Ford the Third present, a Ford
GT descending from the ceiling. Bit much for my tastes but hey. Racing. Not my cup of tea, looks
nice if you like that sort of thing. A Dark Souls announcement, no information just a trailer.  Rare
cropped up with 30 game collection coming to XB1 soon, this can only be good with games such as
Conkers Bad Fur Day and Battletoads on there. They also showed a new IP Sea of Thieves, which
looks to be a pirate based MMO. Love me some pirates.

Ubisoft comes into the fray with a Division trailer. This game should be fantastic, but they hae let us
down in the past with overly hyped games such as Watchdogs. I'm not going to hold my breath.
Backwards compatibility is apparently being added to the systems via a download system. Pop in
you disc based game and download, then you can play on your XB1 whilst the disc is in. Finally,
although I don’t believe this is something they have been working on, more likely they have sat on
this until now to get an edge on Sony. We shall see if Sony does exactly the same, would not surprise me at all.

A new controller was also shown, with customisable buttons pretty much everywhere on the damn
thing, looks pretty cool though. A partnership with Valve VR was announced as was the Oculus Rift
controller addition. Hololens was given a proper demo on stage with special cameras, if it performs
as it was shown to I would definitely consider getting one just for Minecraft use. Looked fantastic.

Finally they announced Gears of War Definitive, sarcasm mode, Yay more games we have all
played!! These developers really need to stop redefining there games and make more brand new
games... what’s the Epic? Your making Gears 4?  Well I take it back! Actually no please make us
some games that aren’t just squeals. Pretty please?

Also they announced some announcements for Gamescom in August

Back again soon for EA! That should be fun. Please.... god..... no.
