The games themselves I guess, but I also loved the Orchestral soundtrack as well. I still have it to this day and listen to it regularly.
How would you summarize the franchise?
The first chance to truly experience an open living, breathing world in a videogame. The NPCs had their own lives and routines, if you observed the game closely enough you can learn their routines and know where they will be at certain times!
It is also a game that teaches a good morals, there is a lot about honour and respect in the games.
What's the weirdest part?
Going round Dobuita asking if anyone knew where I could find sailors.
Shenmue III has just had the most successful videogame Kickstarter campaign in history. If you missed out you can still make a pledge via the PayPal 'Slacker Backer' campaign and get yourself a copy when the game comes out. Just head over to https://shenmue.link/order/
