Bethesda at E3!

Well it was Bethesda's first e3 press conference last night and they had some sights to show us!
Picture
Firstly the kicked the show off with a 8 minute preview of DOOM, a gory insight into what is
incoming for anyone who wants to know. DOOM looks fantastic from the footage and cant wait to
see more.

With DOOM comes the new SNAPMAP level editor that looks very user friendly and allows
everyone to share via the new mod share program called Bethesda Net. This is great as proper
modding features will be integrated into all forthcoming game, providing it works.

Other games were also announced;

Battlecry:  a third person squad based fantasy/steampunkish 5v5 game.

Dishonoured 2: which should be pretty good if they can match the first games awesome feel and
combat/stealth.

Elder Scrolls Legends:  which is a digital collectable card game based on the lore of the elder scrolls
games. Should be interesting if done well. As we know the success of games such as Hearthstone
and even Gwent from Witcher 3 should prove to make this quite popular.

Now for Bethesda's trump card.

Fallout 4.

They showed us a decent amount of gameplay, all looks
fantastic. The character creation is very intuitive. A fantastic crafting system lets you customise
weapons heavily, it also lets you create houses/communities in which NPC's will move in. You will
also need to defend said settlements. All in all Fallout 4 will probably be the game to beat this year.
Then they pulled the Pip Boy edition and my, is it beautiful. Any fan of the fallout series will want
this especially as you can pop in a smart phone and use the app to control the ingame pip boy. Any
fanboy/girls dream extra for this game.

You can check out the full press conference here, its starts around the 22 minute mark

I highly recommend that you do

Anyhoo I will be off to check out Microsoft next. Back soon for more information on that.
