I'm back. Its 3:32 and we are back at it. The village here has no transforming robots in any way, shape or form. Even the pound shops are bereft of them.
Weirdly the vintage toy store (which is actually pretty cool) has no transformers at all. And they have mint in box Sydney Bristow figures from Alias (Bad sculpt, her thighs are HUGE) disappointing.
In the episode Unicron is stirring to life...as Megatron & Alpha Q battle to control him. Meanwhile Optimus is chatting with Primus....
Hey! its Arcee, the female Omnicron...She is of course bright pink with red lipstick. She immediately transforms and demands Kicker climbs on top of her...sorry that came out wrong. Demands Kicker rides her...that's not right either ....erm....

Episode 26 : Ripped Up Space
Episode 26 of 52.This means I'm over halfway through this. It's 5pm so I've been here 9 1/2 hours.....The problem is this is not engaging and its difficult to keep watching. 9 hours from now is 2am....not a fun prospect.
On screen Megatron is releasing all the energon. Winddaggers returned as wind sabre and powerlinked with Prime. They're going after Megs.
Skorpinok is a Terrorcon, he fights Megatron and is impaled on his sword. Alpha Q is distracted as Skorpinok was always his favorite, he and Megatron continue to fight over control of Unicron and the Energon.
I think Alpha Q won, Megatron lead his troops into the light (which is a black hole) now everyone seems to be following them.

Shockblast is surrounded by Autobots, everyone looks to Wind sabre to apprehend him. The guy clearly has PTSD, guys. Maybe support him rather than make him face the guy who almost killed him. This isn't a "get back on the horse" deal, this is a major psychological problem.
so he manages to take him down, but that was a bad message to kids IMO.
Skorpinok's back, but now he's a Decepticon. Alpha Q's still kicking about but its unclear where he is.

More PTSD, this time its Inferno reliving Megatron's attempts to turn him using torture. Because that's how you get your really loyal soldiers.
This episode seems to be an aimless battle in the void whilst Kicker fights a forest fire.
The battle for Infernos soul seems to have been won by the power of friendship.
Episode 31 : Bulkhead
Kickers dad is building an Energon tower on Cybertron which he will ship through a black hole to the jungle planet....WHAT.
Skorpinok has stolen the Energon from the Iron planet...apparently.
It's properly dark here now. I'm sitting in my living room lit only by the TV, this laptop and a small lamp. I've no indication of time passing now the curtains are closed. This is the time vortex for the rest of this session. Something like 7 hours left.
I think Kicker's dad had a breakdown somewhere along the way. Rad asked him to build an Energon tower and he cackled like a babbling fool.

Inferno still seems torn between the Autobots and Decepticons.And the Decepticons are attacking a tower on the ocean planet..or stuff. I think I zoned out for 10mins there.
Everyone's talking like Seaspray...because they're underwater...and robots... yeah.
I do like the idea of your Autobrand being a representation of your personality rather than just a badge. Punch / Counterpunch would be screwed though. Inferno's struggle seems to have infected Skorpinok...but he's burning up from the Energon he took in. That had no pathos at all. But Jetfire kept his spark so its ok.
Episode 33 : Crash Course
Sally (Kickers sister) is now on the Jungle planet with them (are they still on the Jungle planet...I'm unsure)
Misha & Arcee are having a conversation....about where the guys have gone (facepalm)

Unicron just consumed Alpha Q..regaining his long lost head...and Prime is in sleep mode. He's not grey though, so not dead yet....and there he goes powerlinking with Omega supreme.
I know I'm late to this party, and if I didn't know that was going to happen it would have had more impact, but from my perspective I was just wishing they would get on with it.
Episode 36 : The Power
I'm a little puzzled that we have 15 episodes left, and yet we seem to be having the final battle. This is either going to be REALLY......DRAWN......OUT....or we get more story after this.
Shockblast is trying to depose Megatron. Interesting. This is a very different Shockwave type character, less calculating but just as ruthless.
Megatron just threw Prime out of Unicron, he hit the planet, lets see what happens because Megatron would just dust himself off and subjugate the local population.
Megatron wants Unicron to obey him because he fed him....The new mother's lament right there.
Unicron's slapping Megatron around, and taking over Shockblasts mind. Busy guy, Luckily he's a God.
Prime just harnessed Omega Supreme's power and smashed Shockwave with ice, and electricity. Weirdly that seems to have exorcised the Chaos God. Who would of thunk it.
More Skorpinok angst...I stopped caring about him hours ago.
Megatron's been consumed by Unicron. Duh duh duhnnnn.
Episode 37 : Optimus Supreme
I just took another short break (Its 21:00) The penultimate disc is in the dvd player estimated end time is 2am 15 episodes left.
It's unclear whats happening. Unicron has taken control of himself, yet Prime is back at HQ surrounded by injured warriors. Ah exposition at last. He's waiting for them to send him all the Energon from Cybertron's core...
Nope he's going anyway. Now Ultra Magnus shouted "Arise Cybertron Warriors!" and other people have turned up.
This is slow slow slow LOADS OF STUFF ALL AT ONCE. Really poorly put together.
The attack on Unicron was a failure, he destroyed the planet nearby.
WOW Worst CGI shot of the series right there. Unicron on his back in space being shot at by Prime....the foreground and background looked badly photoshopped together.
Optimus finally stopped Unicron with a big shiny light...that came out of nowhere...
Episode 38 : Unicron Perishes
Unicron and Prime are now fighting in a waist deep sea of Energon...in PS2 level graphics...its really bad.
Everyone has new armor and powers...just in time...hmmm.
And down goes Unicron...again. Seriously I keep thinking this fight is over..then he gets back up.

Prime finally blew a massive hole in Unicron taking out his chest and neck with the power of friendship. That was really Japanese..but the CGI was really dodgy.
Anyway, the planets are safe, but they have no sun (as that was Unicrons head piloted by Alpha Q)
Both Unicron and Megatron are still alive (naturally)
Episode 39 : Ambition
Sally has a plush Optimus Prime.
That's like me having a plushie Alex Milne
....I want a plushie Milne now.
Ahem, Shockblasts brother is in an Autobot prison along with the newly arrested Cons.
Megatron is on Cybertron, whilst Starscream stages a jail break.
Megatron's just wandering around with his Terrorcons....till he falls through a portal. He winds up in a chamber where he receives a powerful upgrade, he also awakens 3 Cybertronians
An Autobot and 2 Decepticons...destroying the fourth...
Episode 40 : Wishes
Megatron leaps into the super Energon, and upgrades himself to GALVATRON...who he has looked like from the get go.
The Autobot is Superion Maximus..Is he a gestalt????
We finally get a name for Shockblast's brother...He's SIXSHOT. (No news if he's a ninja consultant or not)
Remember the 3 guys from the chamber earlier, one con just became Bruticus Maximus, whilst the other guy became Construticon Maximus...
they are fighting Superion Maximus
naturally.
Meanwhile Starscream enjoys a dip in the super Energon.
Ultra Magnus meets The Maximus' and knows them from before. The Cons don't seem to know if they work for Megatron or Galvatron...they keep switching the names.
Energon gas is messing everyone up, apart from Kicker who is looking for his dad. Everyone got out, but Kicker's family is still missing...Oh and the Super Energon was supposed to be used to build a better Cybertron. Wooliest idea ever.
